Custom overlays & standalone scoreboard pieces

Scoreboard Stream

Pushed a large customization update to the fgc-scoreboard-customizations overlay. You can now use the scoreboard with custom overlay artwork and your own branding instead of being locked to the built-in look. Everything is still driven by the same StreamControl flow, so no new workflow is needed to use custom assets.

New StreamControl toggles (Customizations tab)

  • Hide Background — hides the shapes drawn behind the text so you can drop the scoreboard text straight onto your own overlay image.
  • Hide Score #s — clearer Show/Hide wording; hides just the score numbers while names/teams stay up.
  • Push Names Out / Push Scores Out / Push Pronouns Out — 0–10 dropdowns that nudge each element symmetrically outward from center, so you can line text up with whatever overlay you’re using.

Standalone overlay pieces

You can now add each part of the scoreboard as its own OBS browser source and position it independently over your artwork:

  • scoreboard-names.html
  • scoreboard-scores.html
  • scoreboard-round.html
  • scoreboard-pronouns.html (new pronouns element — symmetric, and offsettable like the rest)

They all read the same StreamControl data as the full board, so you don’t need any extra setup. Just add them as 1920×1080 browser sources, then drag/scale to taste.

Bring your own font

There’s now a clean way to swap in your own font without editing the shared stylesheet. Drop a style.local.css next to the others (there’s a .example to copy) and point it at your font.

The full board (scoreboard.html) works exactly as before — this is just a set of extra customization features.

New Scoreboard and Adomin features

Scoreboard Stream Adomin

fgc-scoreboard-customizations v1.1.0 adds two new features:

  • Save pronouns for each player — not shown on the scoreboard, but saved so organizers and commentators can keep track.
  • Toggle showing the score numbers — useful for casual sets and events where score isn’t tracked live, isn’t relevant, or where only names need to be shown.

Adomin — the /startgg-report-score command now accepts DQ as the score, marking the loser as DQ on start.gg to simplify reporting DQs.
